Dishwasher shows E11 and may not start or may stop shortly after starting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the outer door panel.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes firmly and evenly. If you have to push hard or lift the door, the latch may be misaligned.
• Inspect latch hook: Look at the metal or plastic hook on the cabinet top; if bent or broken, it may not engage the lock properly.
• Test door switch: With the door open, gently press the latch area and listen for a distinct click from the interlock. No click may indicate a failed switch.
• Adjust or replace: Remove the inner door panel to access the door lock assembly. Tighten loose screws, adjust position, or replace the door lock if the microswitch is defective.
