Possible Causes
Faulty diverter valve, Jammed water distributor, Wiring fault to diverter, Control board error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap.
- Observe spray pattern: If only one spray arm seems to work or water alternation between upper and lower arms fails, the diverter may be stuck.
- Clean spray arms: Remove and clean both spray arms to ensure they are not blocked, which can overload the diverter system.
- Access diverter: On many Amica models the diverter valve is attached to the circulation pump or water distribution chamber under the tub. Inspect for debris or scale buildup.
- Check wiring: Ensure the diverter motor connector is secure.
- Replace diverter: If the motor does not move or the internal switch is faulty, replace the diverter valve assembly.
