Possible Causes
Open-circuit inlet valve coil, Shorted inlet valve, Loose wiring to valve, Control board driver fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap.
- Check water supply basics: Confirm the tap is open and hose is not kinked to rule out simple no-fill causes.
- Access inlet valve: Remove the lower front or side panel to reach the inlet valve where the hose connects.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the connector is firmly attached and not burnt.
- Test coil: Use a multimeter to measure resistance across the valve terminals. An open circuit or very low resistance indicates a faulty valve.
- Replace valve: If defective, install a new Amica-compatible inlet valve.
