Possible Causes
Open or shorted drain pump coil, Jammed pump causing overload, Loose wiring to pump, Control board driver fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and remove the toe-kick panel.
- Check for blockages: Clean filters and inspect the sump for foreign objects that may jam the pump.
- Access pump: Locate the drain pump at the base. Remove the pump cover and check the impeller for obstructions.
- Test coil: With a multimeter, measure resistance across the pump terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed pump.
- Replace pump: If defective, install a new Amica-compatible drain pump.
