Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Blocked spray arm causing water to jet at door, Overfilling due to level sensor issue, Misaligned door
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water supply before inspecting for leaks.
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or buildup. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
- Check lower spray arm: Remove and inspect the lower spray arm for cracks or blocked jets that could direct water toward the door. Clean or replace as needed.
- Verify water level: Run a short cycle and open the door mid-fill. Water should not reach the bottom of the door opening. If too high, inspect the pressure switch and inlet valve.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is worn or deformed, pull it out of the channel and press in a new Arcelik-compatible door gasket, ensuring it is fully seated in all corners.
