Possible Causes

Clogged inlet water filter at Aquastop hose, Defective water inlet valve, Low or no household water pressure, Faulty flow meter or pressure switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher or switch off the circuit breaker and close the water supply tap before working on the appliance.

  • Check household water supply: Ensure the water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that there is adequate water pressure. Try opening a nearby tap to confirm water flow.
  • Inspect inlet hose and Aquastop filter: Turn off the water tap. Unscrew the inlet hose from the tap and from the dishwasher (if accessible). Remove and rinse the small mesh filters at both ends under running water to remove limescale or debris. Refit securely.
  • Check for hose kinks: Make sure the inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the machine or under the sink.
  • Reset the appliance: Restore power, reopen the water tap, and run a short program. If E01 reappears, the inlet valve or flow meter may be defective.
  • Advanced check (for experienced DIYers): Remove the lower front kick panel, locate the water inlet valve assembly on the left side, and test its coil resistance with a multimeter. If open circuit or shorted, replace the valve assembly with an Arcelik-compatible part.
