Possible Causes
Dirty turbidity sensor window, Faulty sump sensor module, Loose sensor connector, Wiring fault between sensor and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the dishwasher to cool before working inside the tub.
- Clean sump area: Remove the lower rack and filters. Clean the sump thoroughly, paying attention to any clear plastic windows or sensor housings on the side of the sump.
- Inspect turbidity sensor: On many Arcelik models, the turbidity or optical sensor is mounted on the side of the sump from the outside. Access it by removing the lower front or side panel. Disconnect the sensor and clean the lens with a soft cloth.
- Check connections: Ensure the sensor plug is fully seated and that there is no corrosion on the pins.
- Run a test cycle: Reassemble and run a short program. If E07 returns, the sensor module may be defective and should be replaced.
- Board diagnosis: If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the main control board may not be reading the sensor correctly. This typically requires professional diagnosis.
