Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Loose NTC connector, Damaged wiring harness to sensor, Control board analog input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the dishwasher to cool completely before touching the sump or heater area.
- Locate NTC sensor: On Arcelik dishwashers, the NTC is usually mounted in the sump or attached to the flow-through heater body.
- Inspect connector: Check that the NTC plug is firmly seated and free of corrosion or moisture.
- Measure resistance: Use a multimeter to measure the NTC resistance at room temperature. Compare with the service manual specification (commonly between 10–50 kΩ). If reading is infinite, near zero, or far from spec, the sensor is faulty.
- Replace NTC: Remove the retaining clip or twist-lock and install a new Arcelik-compatible NTC sensor, ensuring a watertight seal.
- Check harness: If the new sensor does not resolve E11, inspect the wiring from the sensor to the control board for breaks or shorts.
