Possible Causes
Water leak into base tray, Cracked sump or hose, Loose hose clamp, Overfoaming due to wrong detergent
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply. Expect water in the base tray.
- Pull out the dishwasher: Carefully slide the unit out from under the counter.
- Drain base tray: Tilt the dishwasher slightly backward and to one side to allow water to drain from the base. Use towels to soak up water.
- Locate leak source: Remove the bottom panel and inspect all hoses, the sump, circulation pump, and door seal for signs of dripping or mineral trails.
- Fix leaks: Tighten loose clamps, replace cracked hoses, or replace a damaged sump seal. If overfoaming is suspected, ensure only dishwasher detergent is used and in the correct amount.
- Reset anti-flood: Once the base is completely dry and leaks are repaired, restore power and run a short cycle to confirm normal operation.
