Steps:

• Check water pressure: Ensure adequate water pressure at the tap. Very low pressure can cause flow measurement errors.
• Inspect inlet filter and hose: Clean the inlet valve filter and ensure the hose is not kinked.
• Access flow meter: On many Blomberg dishwashers, the flow meter is integrated into the water inlet assembly or side water distributor. Remove the side panel, locate the small plastic housing with wires on the inlet path, and check for visible limescale or debris.
• Clean or replace: If accessible, flush the flow meter with warm water and descaler. Ensure the electrical connector is firmly seated.

When to call a technician: If the flow meter signal is absent or erratic when tested with a multimeter/oscilloscope, or if the control board is not processing the signal, professional diagnosis and replacement are advised.
