Possible Causes

Stuck inlet valve, Blocked pressure sensor hose, Faulty pressure sensor, Control board overfill detection fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and close the water supply immediately to prevent flooding.

Steps:

  • Check water level: Open the door mid-cycle (after stopping the machine). If water level is above the bottom of the door opening, an overfill condition exists.
  • Inspect inlet valve: If water continues to enter the tub with power off, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
  • Clean pressure system: Access the pressure chamber and hose from the sump to the pressure sensor. Remove and flush any grease or debris that could prevent proper level detection.
  • Reset and test: After cleaning, restore power and water, then run a short cycle to see if the error clears.

When to call a technician: If the pressure sensor or control board is faulty, or if the inlet valve requires replacement and you are not comfortable working with water connections, contact a professional.
