Possible Causes
Failed drying fan motor, Blocked air duct, Loose or burnt fan wiring, Control board fan relay fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the top or side panels.
Steps:
- Confirm symptom: At the end of a hot cycle, dishes are very wet and there is little or no warm air when opening the door.
- Access fan: On Blomberg models with a drying fan, it is usually located behind the control panel or on the side/top of the tub. Remove the appropriate panel to access it.
- Inspect wiring: Check the fan connector and wiring harness for damage or burning.
- Test fan: With a multimeter, check the fan motor for continuity. If open, replace the fan assembly.
When to call a technician: If the fan is good but not receiving power, the control board or relay may be faulty and should be serviced by a professional.
