How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before removing the control panel.
- Dry out panel: If the issue started after heavy steam or a spill, leave the door open and allow the panel to dry for several hours with power disconnected.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the inner door panel to access the control panel. Check that the ribbon cable is firmly seated at both ends.
- Clean contacts: If corrosion is visible, gently clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth.
- Replace UI board if needed: If buttons or touch areas remain unresponsive, the user interface board may need replacement with the correct Candy part.
