Possible Causes
Empty or incorrectly set rinse aid dispenser, No dishwasher salt in Candy softener unit, Very hard water not compensated by settings, Excessive detergent dosage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the dishwasher to cool before adjusting internal dispensers.
- Check rinse aid level: Open the rinse aid dispenser on the door and refill if empty. Adjust the dosage setting higher if spotting persists.
- Refill salt reservoir: Unscrew the salt cap in the bottom of the tub and fill with dishwasher salt until full. Wipe away any spilled salt and run a short rinse cycle.
- Adjust water hardness setting: Refer to your Candy manual to set the water softener level according to your local hardness. Incorrect settings can cause scaling.
- Optimize detergent use: Use the recommended amount of detergent; too much can leave residue. Avoid mixing tablets with separate rinse aid/salt settings incorrectly.
