Possible Causes
Clogged spray arm jets, Blocked filter and sump, Weak circulation pump on Candy hydraulic system, Incorrect loading blocking spray arms
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dishwasher before removing spray arms or internal parts.
- Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean the filter assembly. A blocked filter reduces water flow and pressure.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms by unscrewing or unclipping them. Rinse under hot water and clear blocked jets with a toothpick or soft wire.
- Check loading pattern: Avoid overloading. Do not block the rotation of spray arms with tall dishes or pans. Ensure large plates do not obstruct the lower arm.
- Use correct detergent and salt: Use a quality dishwasher detergent and ensure the salt reservoir is filled if you have hard water. Incorrect detergent can cause filming and poor cleaning.
- Persistent poor performance: If cleaning and correct loading do not help, the circulation pump may be worn and not generating enough pressure. Replacement of the circulation pump may be required.
