Possible Causes
Incorrect configuration of Candy control board, Software error after power surge, Extended fill time due to low pressure, Faulty sensor feedback to control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before attempting any reset or inspection.
- Power reset: Turn off the dishwasher at the mains for at least 5–10 minutes to allow the control board to fully discharge. Restore power and try a short cycle.
- Check water pressure: Ensure the water supply tap is fully open and household pressure is adequate. Low pressure can cause extended fill times and trigger E10 on some Candy models.
- Inspect inlet and sensors: Clean inlet filters and verify that the pressure switch and flow meter connections are secure.
- Factory reset (if available): Some Candy dishwashers allow a service reset via button combinations (refer to the user manual). Perform this if documented for your model.
- If E10 persists: The main control board may be misconfigured or damaged. Replacement or reprogramming should be carried out by an authorized Candy service center.
