Possible Causes

Blocked inlet hose filter, Faulty water inlet valve, Low mains water pressure, Defective flow meter in side tank (if fitted)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off the dishwasher at the mains and turn off the water supply tap before working on the appliance.

  • Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
  • Inspect inlet hose filter: Turn off the water, disconnect the inlet hose from the tap and from the dishwasher. At each end there is usually a small mesh filter. Rinse these under running water and remove any limescale or debris with a soft brush.
  • Check for hose kinks: Make sure the inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the machine.
  • Test a reset: Reconnect the hose, turn on water and power, then run a short program to see if the error clears.
  • If still no fill: The water inlet valve or internal flow meter may be faulty. These are located behind the lower front panel or side panel. Replacement involves removing the outer panel, disconnecting electrical connectors and hose clamps, and fitting a like-for-like CDA-compatible valve. If you are not confident, contact a qualified technician.
