How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and be prepared for water when opening filters or hoses.
- Clean filters: Remove and clean all filters thoroughly.
- Inspect drain hose: Check for kinks, high loops, or blockages where the hose connects to the sink trap.
- Check drain pump: Access the pump from the bottom, remove it, and inspect the impeller and housing for obstructions.
- Verify water level sensor: If fitted, check the pressure switch and hose for blockages as described for E5.
- Reassemble and test: Run a rinse cycle to confirm that the dishwasher drains completely and E17 is cleared.
