Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filter at valve, Kinked or pinched inlet hose, Faulty Electrolux water inlet valve, Low household water pressure or closed supply tap
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher or switch off the circuit breaker, and close the water supply valve before working on water connections.
- Check water supply: Verify the household water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that other faucets in the home have normal pressure.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher out slightly and check the Electrolux inlet hose for kinks, sharp bends, or crushing. Straighten or reposition as needed.
- Clean inlet filter: Turn off water, disconnect the inlet hose from the dishwasher. At the water inlet valve connection, remove and rinse the small mesh filter under running water to clear debris and limescale. Reinstall carefully.
- Test fill: Restore power and water, then run a quick cycle. If the i10 error returns, the water inlet valve solenoid may be weak or stuck and should be tested with a multimeter and replaced if out of spec.
- Call a technician: If water pressure is good and the hose/filter are clear but the unit still shows i10, the inlet valve or main control board may require professional diagnosis.
