Safety first: Turn off power. Expect water spillage when disconnecting hoses.

• Clean filters: Remove and rinse the coarse and fine filters. Clear any debris from the sump opening.
• Check disposer connection: If recently installed to a garbage disposer, ensure the drain knockout plug was removed.
• Inspect drain hose: Detach the hose at the sink/disposer and check for clogs. Flush with hot water.
• Test drain pump: Access the pump from the bottom. Check for obstructions and test for continuity. Replace the pump if it hums but does not move water or tests open.
