Safety first: Turn off power before adjusting or replacing the latch.

• Check door closure: Ensure racks are fully pushed in and no large items are blocking the door from closing.
• Inspect latch strike: Look at the metal strike on the tub frame. If it is loose or misaligned, adjust it so the door closes firmly and clicks.
• Test latch assembly: Remove the inner door panel and inspect the latch. If plastic parts are cracked or the switch does not click, replace the latch assembly.
• Control reset: After repair, restore power and press Start within 4 seconds of closing the door on models that require quick start.
