Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Loose wire connection in junction box, Faulty door latch switch, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening any panels, turn off the breaker supplying the dishwasher.
- Check breaker and outlet: Verify the dishwasher breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect junction box: Remove the lower toe-kick panel and open the dishwasher's junction box. Tighten any loose wire nuts and check for burned wires.
- Test door latch switch: With power off, access the door latch and test the switch for continuity when the latch is closed. Replace the latch assembly if the switch is open.
- Control board diagnosis: If power is present at the board but there are no lights or response, the main control board is likely failed and should be replaced.
If you are not comfortable working with household wiring, contact a licensed electrician or appliance technician.
