Frigidaire Gallery Drain Pump-Out Mode

Display shows dP; dishwasher runs a short drain cycle instead of a full wash.

Possible Causes

User-initiated drain program, Control reset sequence triggered, Stuck drain button or key, Software glitch

Safety note: This is usually a normal mode, not a fault.

Allow drain to complete: Let the dP cycle finish; it is designed to remove standing water.
Start a new cycle: After dP completes, select your desired wash cycle and press Start.
Check buttons: If dP starts unexpectedly, inspect the control panel for stuck or damaged buttons and clean the surface.
Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5 minutes to clear any control glitches.
