Failed vent fan motor, Stuck vent flap, Broken vent actuator, Wiring issue between vent assembly and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the inner door panel.
- Inspect vent assembly: Remove the inner door panel to access the vent and fan assembly. Check for broken plastic pieces, stuck flaps, or obstructions.
- Check wiring: Ensure the vent fan connector is fully seated and wires are not pinched or damaged.
- Test fan motor: Using a multimeter, check the fan motor for continuity. If open or seized, replace the vent fan assembly.
- Reassemble and test: After replacing or freeing the vent, reassemble the door and run a dry cycle to confirm the UO code is cleared and drying has improved.
Do not operate the dishwasher with the door panel removed.
