Possible Causes
Clogged spray arms, Blocked filters, Weak circulation pump, Incorrect loading blocking spray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the dishwasher and allow it to cool before cleaning parts.
- Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean all filters in warm soapy water. Ensure the sump area is free of debris.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Rinse under running water and use a toothpick to clear blocked jets.
- Check loading: Make sure large plates or trays are not blocking the rotation of spray arms or the water feed to the upper arm.
- Use proper detergent: Use high-quality dishwasher detergent and ensure the rinse aid and salt levels are correct for your water hardness.
- Test circulation: During a wash, briefly open the door (after pausing) to confirm spray arms are rotating and water pressure is strong. Weak spray may indicate a failing circulation pump.
If cleaning and correct loading do not improve results, the circulation pump or diverter system may require service.
