Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Loose NTC connector, Damaged wiring harness, Faulty control board analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the appliance.
- Locate the NTC: On many Gorenje dishwashers, the NTC is mounted in the sump or on the heater housing.
- Inspect connection: Ensure the NTC plug is fully seated and free from corrosion or moisture.
- Check wiring: Follow the harness from the NTC to the control board, looking for pinched or broken wires.
- Measure resistance: With a multimeter, measure NTC resistance at room temperature. A reading of near 0 Ω or infinite Ω indicates a faulty sensor.
- Replace NTC: If defective, replace the temperature sensor with a compatible Gorenje part.
If a new NTC does not clear E11, the main control module may be defective and should be tested or replaced by a technician.
