How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before removing the door or side panels.

Check vents: Inspect the interior and exterior drying vents for blockages by labels, plastic, or grease.
Access fan unit: On many Gorenje models, the fan is located in the door or side wall. Remove the inner door panel or side panel to access it.
Inspect wiring: Ensure the fan connector is secure and wires are not damaged.
Test fan: With a multimeter, check the fan motor coil for continuity. If open, replace the fan assembly.
Thermostat check: Some models use a thermal cut-out in series with the fan. Test for continuity; if open and not resettable, replace.

Drying faults do not usually affect washing, but persistent E12 should be corrected to avoid further damage.

Dishwasher shows E12 and may have issues with drying performance or fan operation.
