Possible Causes

Flow meter miscounting, Blocked water matrix, Faulty inlet valve, Control board timing issue

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap.

  • Inspect water matrix: Remove the side panel and examine the transparent water distribution matrix for limescale or debris. Clean or replace if heavily fouled.
  • Check flow meter wiring: Ensure the small sensor on the matrix is firmly connected.
  • Clean inlet filters: As with other fill errors, clean the inlet hose filters.
  • Test fill: After reassembly, run a quick cycle and check that the water level reaches just above the filter area. If still low, replace the inlet valve or matrix/flow meter assembly.

Persistent E18 after component replacement may indicate a control board fault requiring professional diagnosis.
