How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove and clean all filters and check the sump for debris.
- Inspect pump: Access the drain pump from the base. Check for foreign objects in the impeller housing.
- Wiring check: Ensure the pump connector is secure and wires are not damaged.
- Test operation: Run a drain-only or cancel program and observe whether the pump runs strongly and continuously.
If the pump runs intermittently or overheats, replace the drain pump. If the pump is good but E20 persists, the control board may be at fault.
