Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap immediately.
- Remove water from base: Pull the dishwasher out and tilt it slightly backward or sideways over towels to drain water from the base tray. This may temporarily clear E15.
- Inspect for leaks: Remove the bottom panel and carefully inspect all hoses, the sump gasket, circulation pump, and inlet valve for signs of leakage or mineral deposits.
- Check float switch: Verify that the anti-flood float moves freely and that its microswitch is not stuck in the activated position. Clean and dry the area thoroughly.
- Run a monitored test: With panels off and towels underneath, run a short cycle and watch for drips to identify the leak source.
Do not continue using the dishwasher until the leak source is repaired. Replace any cracked hoses, leaking pump seals, or damaged sump components. If the tub itself is cracked, replacement of the entire tub assembly may be required.
