Possible Causes
Partially blocked inlet filter, Low household water pressure, Faulty flow meter, Sticking inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
- Clean inlet filter: Disconnect the inlet hose from the tap and clean the small mesh filter. If fitted with AquaStop, also inspect the internal filter at the valve end.
- Check water pressure: Run water from the tap into a bucket; a weak flow indicates a plumbing issue rather than a dishwasher fault.
- Inspect flow meter and valve: Remove the side panel to access the inlet assembly. Check for limescale or debris in the flow chamber and valve. Clean if possible.
If E18 continues, the flow meter or inlet valve may need replacement by a technician.
