Possible Causes
Foreign object in Hisense circulation or drain pump, Spray arm hitting tall items, Loose mounting brackets or leveling feet, Worn pump bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the base or pumps.
- 1. Check for loose items: Open the door and ensure utensils are not protruding through the basket and hitting the spray arms.
- 2. Inspect spray arms: Spin the arms by hand to confirm they rotate freely and do not contact racks or dishes.
- 3. Clean sump and pumps: Remove filters and inspect the sump for glass, bones, or other debris. Access the Hisense drain pump and circulation pump from below and clear any obstructions.
- 4. Level the dishwasher: Adjust the front and rear leveling feet so the unit is stable and does not rock. Tighten mounting brackets to the cabinet.
- 5. Replace noisy pump: If grinding or loud humming persists, the pump bearings may be worn. Replace the Hisense circulation or drain pump as needed.
