Possible Causes
Loose harness between Hisense main PCB and control panel, Moisture ingress into control panel, Faulty user interface board, Defective main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or top cover.
- 1. Inspect the control panel: Check for signs of moisture or detergent residue around the buttons and display. Dry the area thoroughly.
- 2. Access wiring harness: Remove the inner door panel to expose the user interface board and wiring. Ensure the multi-pin connector between the UI and main board is fully seated.
- 3. Check for damage: Look for burnt spots, corrosion, or broken tracks on the Hisense control panel PCB. Replace the UI board if damaged.
- 4. Harness continuity: If you have a multimeter, test continuity of the harness wires between the UI and main PCB. Replace the harness if any wire is open.
- 5. Main board evaluation: If the UI and harness are good but E11 persists, the main control board may have a communication fault and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
