Dishwasher shows E12 and may have issues with drying or fan operation.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the top or side panels.

• 1. Confirm symptom: After a cycle, check if the dishes are very wet and if you hear no fan noise during the drying phase.
• 2. Locate the drying fan: On many Hisense dishwashers, the fan is mounted on the top or side of the door or tub with a vent outlet.
• 3. Inspect vent and fan: Remove the inner door panel or side panel to access the fan. Check for lint, plastic wrap, or insulation blocking the fan blades or vent duct.
• 4. Test the fan motor: With power disconnected, unplug the fan and test for continuity. An open motor requires replacement of the Hisense drying fan assembly.
• 5. Check wiring and connector: Ensure the fan connector is tight and the wires are not pinched or cut.
• 6. Control board check: If the fan is good but never receives power during drying, the main PCB fan driver may be faulty and require replacement.
