Possible Causes
Faulty Hisense flow meter in inlet assembly, Blocked flow meter by scale or debris, Loose flow meter connector, Wiring fault between flow meter and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply valve before working on the inlet system.
- 1. Access the inlet assembly: Remove the left or right side panel (depending on model) to locate the Hisense water inlet and flow meter assembly.
- 2. Inspect for kinks and debris: Check the internal inlet hose and flow meter body for kinks or visible debris. If possible, remove the flow meter and flush it with clean water.
- 3. Check electrical connector: Ensure the small connector on the flow meter is firmly attached and free of corrosion.
- 4. Test flow meter: If you have service data and a meter, you can test the pulse output while water flows. A non-functioning sensor should be replaced.
- 5. Replace flow meter if needed: Install a new Hisense flow meter/inlet assembly, ensuring all seals and clamps are secure.
- 6. Run a test cycle: Restore water and power, then run a quick wash to confirm that E13 does not reappear.
