How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
- 1. Inspect buttons: Check if any button feels stuck, does not spring back, or is physically damaged. Gently press each button several times.
- 2. Dry the panel: If there are signs of moisture or spills on the control panel, dry the surface and allow the dishwasher to sit powered off for several hours.
- 3. Access the UI board: Remove the inner door panel to expose the Hisense control panel PCB and keypad ribbon cable.
- 4. Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to ensure a solid connection.
- 5. Replace UI board if needed: If E14 persists and specific buttons do not respond or appear always pressed, replace the Hisense user interface board or keypad assembly.
