Possible Causes
Leak from Hisense inlet valve or hose, Leak from sump gasket or pump seals, Over-foaming from incorrect detergent, Cracked internal hose or tub
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply immediately to prevent electrical hazards and further flooding.
- 1. Pull out the dishwasher: Carefully slide the Hisense unit out and place towels underneath.
- 2. Check base tray: Remove the lower front or side panels and inspect the base tray. If water is present, the float switch has triggered E15.
- 3. Dry and reset: Remove all water from the base with towels or a sponge. Allow the area to dry completely.
- 4. Identify leak source: Run a short cycle while observing underneath. Look for drips from the inlet valve, circulation pump, drain pump, sump, or hoses.
- 5. Correct the cause: Tighten hose clamps, replace leaking Hisense components (inlet valve, sump seal, hoses), and avoid using regular dish soap which can cause over-foaming and overflow.
- 6. Test again: Once repaired and dry, restore power and water and run a full cycle to ensure no further leaks and that E15 is cleared.
