Possible Causes
Clogged wash arms on Insinger spray manifolds, Low wash pump pressure due to worn impeller, Incorrect detergent concentration from Insinger-compatible dispenser, Low tank water level from faulty float or level switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the machine to cool before disassembly.
- Clean wash arms: Remove upper and lower wash arms from the Insinger dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly and clear each nozzle with a small brush or toothpick. Soak in descaler if mineral deposits are present.
- Check tank strainers and scrap screens: Remove and clean all strainers and scrap baskets. A blocked intake can starve the wash pump.
- Inspect wash pump performance: With panels removed, observe spray pressure during a cycle. If weak, the pump impeller may be worn or partially blocked. Remove the pump cover and clean or replace the impeller as needed.
- Verify detergent dosing: Confirm that the Insinger-compatible detergent pump is primed and delivering the manufacturer-recommended concentration. Adjust settings or consult your chemical supplier if necessary.
- Check water level: Ensure the tank fills to the correct level mark. If low, inspect the float and level switch for sticking or misadjustment.
