Possible Causes
Insufficient building water pressure to rinse line, Clogged rinse jets or arms, Partially blocked rinse solenoid valve or strainer, Failed rinse booster pump (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close water supply as needed. Beware of hot water in rinse lines.
- Check building pressure: Measure water pressure at the rinse supply line. Insinger dishwashers typically require a minimum specified pressure; consult the installation manual.
- Clean rinse arms and jets: Remove the upper and lower rinse arms. Soak in descaling solution if mineral deposits are present. Use a small brush or pick to clear each jet.
- Inspect rinse valve and strainer: Shut off water, remove the rinse solenoid valve inlet fitting, and clean the internal strainer. Replace the valve if the internal mechanism is damaged or restricted.
- Rinse booster pump (if present): Check the booster pump for proper operation, leaks, or cavitation. Ensure the pump is primed and not drawing air.
- Re-test rinse: Restore water and power, then run a cycle to confirm strong, even rinse spray and that E12 does not return.
