Possible Causes

Leaking tank gasket or weld, Loose pump or heater flange, Cracked drain or fill hose, Faulty or overfilled chemical injection point

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close water supply. Expect standing water in the base pan; use appropriate PPE.

  • Remove base panel: Access the underside of the Insinger dishwasher and locate the leak sensor or float in the base pan.
  • Dry the base: Use towels or a wet/dry vacuum to remove all water from the base pan. Reset any float or sensor if required.
  • Identify leak source: Run a short fill or wash cycle while observing the underside with a flashlight. Look for drips from pump seals, heater gaskets, tank seams, or hoses.
  • Tighten or replace components: Tighten hose clamps and mounting bolts on pumps and heaters. Replace cracked hoses or worn gaskets. For tank seam leaks, consult Insinger service for approved repair methods.
  • Verify no further leaks: After repairs, run multiple cycles and confirm the base remains dry and E15 does not recur.
