Possible Causes
Undersized or failing booster heater, Low incoming water temperature, Faulty temperature probe or calibration, Insufficient rinse time or flow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power to the booster and dishwasher before testing heaters.
- Check incoming water temperature: Measure the hot water supply temperature feeding the booster. Ensure it meets Insinger’s minimum spec.
- Test booster heater and high-limit: As with E11, verify element resistance and reset high-limit if tripped. Replace failed components.
- Verify rinse flow and time: Confirm that rinse arms are clean and that the rinse duration matches factory settings. Low flow can prevent proper temperature at the dishes.
- Probe calibration: Compare displayed rinse temperature to an external thermometer. If readings differ significantly, replace or recalibrate the probe per Insinger guidelines.
