Possible Causes
Empty detergent or rinse aid container, Blocked Maidaid dosing pump or injector, Faulty peristaltic dosing pump, Wiring fault to dosing pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing dosing equipment. Wear gloves when handling chemicals.
- Check chemical levels: Verify that external detergent and rinse aid containers are not empty and that suction tubes are fully submerged.
- Inspect suction and delivery tubes: Check Maidaid dosing hoses for kinks, air leaks, or blockages. Replace hardened or cracked tubing.
- Prime pumps: Use the machine’s priming function (if available) to run the detergent and rinse aid pumps until chemical flows steadily to the injection point.
- Check injectors: Remove and clean the chemical injection nozzles where they enter the hydraulic circuit. Clear any scale or product build-up.
- Test pump operation: With power off, inspect the Maidaid peristaltic pump heads. Ensure rollers turn freely. Then, under controlled conditions, energise the pump and confirm rotation. Replace the dosing pump if it does not run or is very weak.
- If E10 persists: A control board output fault or configuration issue may be present; consult Maidaid service documentation or a technician.
