How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any internal components.
- Locate turbidity sensor: Typically mounted in the hydraulic circuit or sump area with a clear window into the water flow.
- Clean sensor window: Remove the Maidaid turbidity sensor and gently clean the optical window with a soft cloth and warm water to remove film or scale.
- Inspect wiring: Check the connector and harness for moisture, corrosion, or damage. Dry and reseat.
- Test sensor: If service data is available, measure sensor output or resistance. Replace the Maidaid turbidity sensor if readings are out of specification.
- If E14 persists: The control PCB may not be interpreting the sensor correctly and may require replacement by a professional.
