Dishwasher stops and displays E6, often accompanied by no water entering or immediate abort of cycle.

Safety first: Isolate power and water supply.

• Confirm water supply: Ensure E1-type issues are not present (tap open, hose not kinked, inlet filter clean).
• Locate flow meter: On many Maidaid dishwashers, the flow meter is integrated into the inlet assembly or side water chamber. Access via side panel.
• Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the flow meter to the control board for damage, loose connectors, or corrosion. Reseat plugs firmly.
• Check for blockage: Remove the flow meter or water chamber and inspect for scale or debris obstructing the turbine wheel. Clean gently with a soft brush.
• Functional test: With the unit in diagnostic mode (if available), monitor flow meter pulses or use a multimeter on the signal wire while manually passing water through the meter. Replace the Maidaid flow meter if no pulses are generated.
• If still faulty: The control PCB input circuit may be defective and should be tested and replaced by a qualified technician.
