Possible Causes
Door not fully latched, Faulty Midea door switch, Child lock enabled, Defective Start button or touch panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the dishwasher is idle before changing settings.
- Confirm door closure: Push the door firmly until you hear a click. Check that racks or tall items are not blocking closure.
- Disable child lock: Hold the lock key (or designated button) for 3–5 seconds to unlock the controls.
- Check for error lights: Some models flash a door icon if the latch is not detected. If so, inspect and possibly replace the Midea door lock assembly.
- Control panel test: If some buttons do not respond, the touch panel may be faulty and require replacement.
