Possible Causes
Defective Midea flow meter (if equipped), Blocked flow meter turbine, Loose wiring to flow sensor, Control board misinterpretation of pulses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply before removing side panels or hoses.
- Locate flow meter: On many Midea models, the flow meter is integrated into the side water channel or inlet assembly.
- Inspect for debris: Remove the side panel and check the transparent water channel for debris or scale. Clean gently with warm water.
- Check wiring: Ensure the small connector from the flow meter to the harness is secure and not corroded.
- Replace flow meter: If the turbine is stuck or the sensor is damaged, replace the flow meter assembly with the correct Midea part.
- Test operation: Reassemble, restore power and water, and run a quick cycle to confirm normal filling and that E14 is cleared.
