Safety first: Disconnect power and remove standing water with a cup and sponge before accessing the sump.
- Remove filters: Take out the coarse and fine filters from the bottom of the tub.
- Access pump inlet: Look for a small cover or cap over the drain pump inlet in the sump. Remove it and check for debris such as glass, bones, or labels.
- Clean and reseat cover: Thoroughly clean the area and reinstall the pump cover, ensuring it locks fully into place to maintain proper flow.
- Test drain: Restore power and run a drain cycle. If E25 persists, the pump itself may be damaged and require replacement.
