Water remains in the bottom of the dishwasher between cycles, slowly seeping back after draining.

Safety first: Turn off power before adjusting plumbing.

• Inspect hose routing: Ensure the Midea drain hose rises to the underside of the countertop (high loop) or connects to an air gap before going to the sink drain.
• Raise connection: If the hose connects low on the drain, move it higher to prevent backflow.
• Check sink drain: Clear any partial blockages that could cause water to back up into the dishwasher.
