Possible Causes
Blocked air break or water distributor, Faulty pressure switch or level sensor, Clogged fill hose or internal fill manifold, Control board not energizing inlet valve long enough
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate electrical power and close the water supply before opening panels.
- Check for obvious restrictions: Remove the machine’s side panel (if accessible) and inspect the air break / water distributor assembly for scale or debris. Clean any visible blockages.
- Inspect pressure/level sensor: Locate the pressure switch or electronic level sensor connected to a small hose from the wash tank or sump. Remove the hose and blow through it to ensure it is not blocked with grease or limescale. Clean or replace the hose if clogged.
- Test pressure switch: With a multimeter, check continuity of the pressure switch while gently blowing into the pressure port. It should change state at a defined pressure. Replace if it does not switch reliably.
- Run a test fill: Reassemble, restore water and power, and start a cycle. If the machine still times out with E02, the control PCB may not be driving the inlet valve correctly and should be checked by a professional.
Because this fault affects water level safety, if cleaning the pressure hose and air break does not resolve it, involve a qualified Wexiodisk technician.
