How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and ensure water is cool before working inside the tank or sump.
- Manually drain water: If the tank is full, use a jug or wet vacuum to remove as much water as possible.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove the Wexiodisk tank filters and strainers. Check the sump area for broken glass, cutlery, or food debris blocking the pump inlet. Clean thoroughly.
- Inspect drain pump: Access the drain pump from the front or side panel. Remove the pump cover (if serviceable) and check the impeller for obstructions. Ensure it spins freely.
- Check drain hose: Follow the drain hose to the building drain. Straighten kinks and clear any blockages. If connected to a standpipe or air gap, clean those fittings as well.
- Electrical test: With power off, check the pump coil resistance. Then, with caution and proper tools, verify that the control board supplies power to the pump during drain. Replace the pump if the motor is open, seized, or noisy.
If E03 persists after cleaning and hose inspection, the drain pump assembly should be replaced or the control board evaluated by a technician.
